Кинематика изначально прямолинейного волнового фронта около такого острова была исследована методом пошагового ортогонального продвижения. Получена оценка доли волновой энергии, которая из-за рефракции захватывается донным склоном, окружающим остров. Проведено также численное моделирование этой же задачи в рамках модели мелкой воды, которое подтвердило результаты, полученные кинематическим методом, в том числе и количественную оценку части волновой энергии, отраженной островом и захваченной его наклонным шельфом. Показано, что острова, окруженные донным склоном, хорошо экранируют акваторию, расположенную за таким островом.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The process of capturing wave energy by an island around which the bottom has a conical shape is studied. The kinematics of the initially straight wave front near such an island was investigated by the method of step-by-step orthogonal advancement. An estimate of the part of wave energy that due to refraction is captured by the bottom slope surrounding the island was obtained. Numerical modeling of this problem was also carried out within the framework of the shallow-water model, which confirmed the results obtained by the kinematic method, including a quantitative assessment of the part of the wave energy reflected by the island and captured by its inclined shelf.
